DESCRIPTION
A Figma plugin that extracts text from any image layer using Google Cloud Vision. Built to avoid switching between Figma and Preview just to copy text from screenshots.
CONTEXT
While analyzing AI product flows in Figma, I kept running into the same small annoyance: copying text from screenshots meant leaving Figma entirely. No existing plugin solved this, so I built one myself.
SOLUTION
Select an image layer, hit Extract, and Textract does the rest. Google Cloud Vision reads the text for you in 50+ languages, then hands it back in whatever format works best for you. A clean list if you want to scan quickly, or highlighted right on the image if you prefer to see context.
